Big Changes for ‘My Own Worst Enemy’
NBC’s new show, My Own Worst Enemy, has undergone some big changes this week, only a month before its big season premiere.
First, it was announced that creator Jason Smilovic would be stepping down as showrunner and would be replaced by John Eisendrath. Eisendrath, who worked on Alias, will take over the day-to-day running of the show but Smilovic will stay on as an executive producer.
Now we are also hearing that Yara Martinez is being replaced by Madchen Amick. Amick is best known for her role as Shelly Johnson on the cult classic Twin Peaks. She will star as the wife of Christian Slater’s character, Henry. Henry is a mild mannered family man who isn’t aware that he is leading another life as Edward the spy.
All this change this close to the premiere sure doesn’t seem like a good sign to me.
My Own Worst Enemy premieres October 13 at 10pm, right after Heroes, on NBC.
