ABC has announced that it will not renew Life on Mars beyond this season. The show will, however, complete the 17 episode order for this season and they have assured fans that they will wrap up the loose story ends, explain how Detective Sam Tyler (Jason O’Mara) got transported back in time and, perhaps, bring him back to his own time.
