Hollywood Residential: Mrs. Clark W. Griswold Is a Cougar?

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008

Perhaps the National Lampoon’s Vacation series has grown long in tooth.

WAY long in tooth.

My buddy Izzy at Starz has a disturbing revelation about everyone’s favorite movie mom, Mrs. Clark W. Griswold.

I just wanted to quickly pass along these clips from  tomorrow’s season finales of the Starz original comedy series’ Head Case and Hollywood Residential.

On Head Case ((3/12 10pm EST/PST) Rosanna Arquette is dumped by her fiance. Dr. Goode shows her typical sensitivity:

On Hollywood Residential, (3/12 at 10:30p ET/PT), Beverly D’Angelo wants to lick Tony’s wounds. Um…yeah. Check it out here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83_ndpDODes

I kind of can’t handle seeing the woman I always imagined was married to Chevy Chase in real life in such a compromising position. It’s kind of creepy, right?

All the best,

Izzy

The “Starz” Come Out: New Episodes of Head Case and Hollywood Residential

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

I think Starz is the network on my cable system that I receive when there is heavy sunspot activity.

I’m just kidding!

Izzy from Starz has some fun stuff on the cabler’s new shows:

Just wanted to send over the scoop on (recent) tomorrow’s episodes of Starz’
original comedy shows, “Head Case” and “Hollywood Residential.”

On “Head Case” (3/5 10pm ET/PT) Emmett Brown (Back to the Future!!) appears to suffer from paranoid delusions…or does he.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi_dkpgrMKw

And just for fun, watch Sex and the City’s Jason Lewis get sexually assaulted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0QcN5N6bjM

On “Hollywood Residential, (3/5 at 10:30p ET/PT), Tony is thrown when
John Cho (Harold & Kumar go to White Castle) refuses to be associated with with his most memorable line from “American Pie,” MILF.

Starz: Nicole Richie’s Babydaddy and Jamie Kennedy’s Hangover

Wednesday, February 13th, 2008

With the writers’ strike over, new episodes of programs will trickle onto the screen.

In the meantime, here are some other new programs to help you through the long winter’s night.

My Pal Izzy has more:

Just wanted to send over the scoop on tonight’s episodes of Starz’ original comedy shows, Head Case and Hollywood Residential.

Head Case, airing tonight, 2/13 at 10:00 p ET/PT, features Nicole Richie’s babydaddy Joel Madden. The Good Charlotte star’s trip to therapy brings his innermost hopes and dreams out into the open. Who knew such periodontal passion burned within the rocker’s heart? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zztkzNZnKxA

On “Hollywood Residential, (tonight at 10:30p ET/PT) Jamie Kennedy seems a tad hungover as he plays a little trick on the crew coming to renovate his house: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX4Z21hs-Es

All the best,

Izzy

Starz Premieres Two New Original Series Tomorrow

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

My Gal Maria at Starz has some good news during the WGA and mid-winter doldrums: The network is going to be introducing some new TV fare and you can get yourself a mighty big helping to taste!

Here’s Maria!

As a reminder, two new original programs are premiering on Starz tomorrow (Wednesday). And, before they air, viewers can watch the entire episodes online. To watch the first episodes, visit:

http://www.starz.com/starzheadcase

http://www.starz.com/starzhollywoodres

The two new shows are semi-scripted improvisational comedies with Hollywood themes and celebrities guest-starring as themselves:

In Head Case, (Premiering Jan 23 at 10pm E/P), Dr. Elizabeth Goode (Alexandra Wentworth) is a celebrity therapist with an unorthodox approach to treating her patients. Famous faces like Joel Madden, Rosanna Arquette, Jeff Goldblum and Andy Dick, make appearances on this unconventional, boundary-pushing comedy. To preview Jeff Goldblum on
the “Head Case” couch, click on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo4LBtjveTw

Hollywood Residential (Premiering Jan 23 at 10:30pm E/P) follows a useless host of a celebrity home makeover show, struggling actor Tony King (Adam Paul), as he ruins celebrity homes while humiliating himself in pursuit of his big break. Guest stars include Jamie Kennedy, Chris Kattan, Paula Abdul, Carmen Electra, Tom Arnold and Cheryl Hines. To see Paula Abdul’s misadventures on “Hollywood Residential,â€? check out the link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhU0hBvw_2c

Cheers!
