First Emmy Presenters Announced

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

housewivesThe first presenters for the 60th Annual Emmy Awards ceremony on September 21 have been announced.

The cast of Desperate Housewives, Marcia Cross, Dana Delany, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria Parker and Nicolette Sheridan, will all present an award together.

Saturday Night Live alums and Baby Mama co-stars, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will also present together. Both are nominated for Emmys this year as well. Fey is recognized for writing and acting on 30 Rock and for her turn as host of SNL. Poehler’s nod is for best supporting actress in a comedy series for her work on Saturday Night Live.

Also presenting together will be House star Hugh Laurie and The New Adventures of Old Christine’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus. They are both nominated in their respective lead acting categories.

“It’s always fun to come up with unique pairings, cast reunions and surprising personalities as presenters on the Emmy show, and this year we’ve got a number of those,” Emmy executive producer Ken Ehrlich says. “And the good news is, we’ve got plenty more to come.”
