I’m starting the countdown to the Season 5 Premiere of LOST. Here are four sneak peeks at what is coming when the show returns on Wednesday, January 21.
ABC has finally announced a premiere date for the long-awaited premiere of LOST. The show will return to Wednesdays on January 21. The premiere will be a three-hour event with two episodes, . "Because You Left" and "The Lie," airing back-to-back, preceded by a recap show.
LOST will move into its regular timeslot, Wednesdays at 9pm ET, on January 28. No word yet on what will follow, but according to E! Online’s Kristin, ABC has said that a decision will be made about new time slots for Private Practice and possibly Pushing Daisies next week.
Titles of episodes three through six will be: "Jughead," "The Little Prince," "The Place Is Death" and "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham."
Also announced this week, Reiko Aylesworth, formerly of 24 and ER, will reportedly be joining the cast for a four episode arc as Amy, a possible love interest of one of the LOST boys.
January is just around the corner and ABC has started teasing us with trailers for the new season of Lost. Here are two that have aired so far:
EW’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that Michelle Rodriguez is coming back to LOST this season. Michelle played Tailie Ana Lucia, who was fatally shot by Michael in the hatch. Ironically (or maybe not), her exit on the show came shortly after she was arrested for DUI in Hawaii.
She will be back for only one episode, most likely the second of the season. It would stand to reason that she will be coming back in a flashback, or perhaps in a vision. Auseillo reports that Cheech Marin is also on the guest list for episode 2, which means the episode is probably Hurley-centric, so a hallucination is also a good possibility, especially given Hurley’s history of talking to dead people.
Dead is never “dead” on a show like LOST.
