CNN Honors Real Life Heroes
CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute launched last year to spotlight ordinary citizens accomplishing extraordinary deeds. This Thanksgiving night, CNN will again honor 10 individuals selected from a global search. Based on results from CNN’s current online public poll, this year’s "Hero of the Year" will be selected.
This year’s Top 10 CNN Heroes, were selected by a Blue Ribbon Panel and were unveiled in October by Anderson Cooper on CNN’s American Morning. Their profiles are available at http://www.CNN.com/Heroes. You can vote for your choice at the CNN Heroes site until Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Anderson Cooper will host this year’s all-star ceremony from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The program will air globally this Thanksgiving, November 27, at 9pm ET/PT on CNN, CNN International and CNN en Espanol.
