Rules of Engagement Returns March 2

rulesofengagement1 CBS has set Monday, March 2 as the premiere date for the third season of Rules of Engagement. The show, which stars Patrick Warburton, Megyn Price, Oliver Hudson, Bianca Kajlich and David Spade, will return the the 9:30 pm timeslot following Two and a Half Men. The sitcom averaged about 10.9 million viewers in the same slot last season.

Rules replaces the freshman comedy, Worst Week, which ends it’s 17 episode run on February 9.  It is unclear yet whether the network will renew Worst Week for a second season.  Though it has been averaging decent numbers for a first-year comedy this season, it still hasn’t pulled in quite the number of viewers that Rules of Engagement saw in the same timeslot last season.  Worst Week has averaged about 9.9 million.
