Sometimes, KITT Just Happens
It’s not like the schlocky 80s NBC series Knight Rider was something to be mourned once it went into the great junkyard up above where cancelled TV shows go.
I mean David Hassellhoff, America’s greatest import to Germany after millions of tons of B-17 dropped bombs during WWII, as the lead? A talking car?
So of course, like a bad puce colored leisure suit, you want to re-tailor it and wear it now?
Ick.
But KITT is about hit the fan again, as NBC readies a “movie” version of Knight Rider.
But since My Buddy Shankar is so good to me, I’m going to go ahead and promote the show. Perhaps they can work in that footage of Hassellhoff rolling on the floor in a drunken stupor eating a hamburger. If they do that, then I’ll watch.
I thought I’d send over some teaser footage that went up on YouTube recently of NBC’s new Knight Rider series, coming Feb. 17, in case you thought your readers might be interested. Check ‘em out:

[...] This is probably the best short TV review I have ever read. It just savages NBC’s remake of Knight Rider. [...]
