‘Veronica Mars’ Movie in the Works?

VeronicaMarsSoundtrack Well, not officially…yet.  But it seems that Veronica Mars creator, Rob Thomas, did meet with star Kristen Bell to talk about a possible VM movie.

According to EW’s Michael Ausiello, Thomas and Bell had an impromptu meeting in the office of his production company (which just happens to be on the same lot where Bell is working on Heroes) last week.

"Kristen and I ran into each other, and we did discuss a Veronica movie," confirms Thomas. He says he has also discussed the project with Veronica Mars executive producer Joel Silver.

Thomas is currently working on two projects for ABC, a reworking of his ’90s show Cupid and an adaptation of the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune, so he’s a bit busy at the moment.  "But as soon as I have any free time, that’s my top priority."

Bell was asked about the meeting and the possibility of a Veronica Mars film, but all she had to say (through a big grin) was, "We’ll see."
